The Yankees were 5-7…good stuff and heading to the Stadium all knotted up at 1-1.

New world game
One element I felt that was really excellently done and something I would like to see more of is the almost comic book style cut scenes that serve up the lore. It’s a stark contrast to the oft flat feeling interactions with the games many NPC’s.
All you need to do is download the free trial from your platform’s store and enjoy a seamless introduction to the game. When the trial ends, you have the option to purchase the game and continue your adventure without interruption.
Our journey begins as it did before: in the bowels of a rickety old ship bound for the mysterious Isle of Aeternum. The cutscenes aren’t available in the Summer Game Fest build, so I’m launched into the character creator and then onwards to the upper decks. As thunder booms and the waves continue to batter the sides of our vessel, a barrel explodes in front of me, opening a path for what I presume was once one of my crewmates, who shambles menacingly towards me, weapon raised. New World: Aeternum thrusts you into the heart of the action immediately, and I like it.
As a resident Irishman the detail in Grace O’Maley’s use of choice language is quite accurate to real world conversation here. It’s fine detail that’s not often included in games but very appreciated.
